I don't want to harp on 50 Shades of Grey. I hate it. You know I hate it - or at least the friends and friends of friends to whom I've tried to do PSA's for know I hate it. I like erotica and erotic romance and I object to this book being held up as the prime example of how those books are written; I consider it an insult to an incredibly diverse and often well-written subset. But for all those people who don't believe me when I wave my hands frantically and yell 'RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!' please take a moment and read the following review on goodreads - if that doesn't give you a clue to my issues with the book then nothing will.
