I would place her among the best of mainstream erotic authors and a woman who can really take great sex and make it work side by side with amazing plot. In this latest book Cassa and Cabal are center stage - both characters who have made appearances in previous books in the series. Yet only here do we really begin to understand their joint past, because unlike in some of the other books where the characters are meeting for the first time in the present (Leigh's timeline), Cassa and Cabal share over a decades worth of history with each other, something that makes the interactions between them even more honest. It's got some great bloody action and while the deaths might make you cringe, it's hard to sympathize when you realize that a bunch of Council people are finally meeting with their (in my opinion) justified demise.
Overall Feeling - Thumbs up. Another good book where sex and plot combine for a rollicking good time!
