Words to Live By
"Racism isn't born, folks, it's taught. I have a two-year-old son. You know what he hates? Naps! End of list." -- Dennis Leary
"If you were born a certain way, embrace it. Change only what you can't live with, but try to accept who you are, and say 'Yes' to what makes you unique." -- Laura Mercier
"Always be who you are, and say what you feel, because people who mind don't matter, and people who matter don't mind." --Dr. Seuss
"It came from me. One day I decided that I was beautiful, and so I carried out my life as if I was a beautiful girl. I wear colors that I really like, I wear makeup that makes me feel pretty, and it really helps. It doesn’t have anything to do with how the world perceives you. What matters is what you see." -- Gabourney Sidibe

Giving Help Where It's Needed
In light of the terrible disaster recently experienced by the people of Haiti I have removed my own personal donation request in the hopes of urging you to do something more - to give for Haiti. The country and its people have been horribly effected by earthquake and whatever you can give, $5, $10, $15, would make a great difference to the relief effort. Here are just a few of the ways you can help- I just donated - have you? For missing family, call 1-888-407-4747. To help with relief efforts, text "HAITI" to "90999" and $10 will be given automatically to the Red Cross, charged to your cell phone bill. www.state.gov
text "yele" to 501501 to donate $5 to Haiti disaster relief.
Or please check out the Red Cross website at http://www.redcross.org/ to give in the name of Haiti.
